Why I love it: I first came across this album via a burned copy of the CD given to me by a friend. The intimate sound, carefully crafted lyrics, and overall sonic aesthetic struck me instantly, and subsequently lead me down the rabbit hold that is the full Mark Kozelek catalog, of which I remain enthralled with to this day. To me, this is Mark Kozelek’s best work and pairs nicely with a cold day and a warm stereo. While this edition is long out of print, it was just recently reissued on vinyl.
